It is an honor and a solemn responsibility to nominate many of Nevada's finest young men and women for admission into our naton's service academies." - Rep. Dina Titus
Like many Nevada families, the Titus family came to the state as a result of military service. Congresswoman Titus' father was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The family settled into Victory Village in Henderson during her father's tour of duty in southern Nevada.
Congresswoman Titus takes tremendous pride in the opportunity to nominate young men and women as candidates to the following U.S. Service Academies:
The United States Military Academy (West Point, NY)
The United States Naval Academy (Annapolis, MD)
The United States Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO)
To become a candidate for admission to the Service Academies above, you must receive a nomination from a US Senator, US Representative, the Vice-President of the United States or the President of the United States (US Possessions).
Applications for admission to the United States Coast Guard Academy do not require a nomination. However, Congresswoman Titus' office is glad to assist you with guidance on the admissions process. Enlisted members of the U.S. Armed Forces may apply for admission to one of the service academies without a Congressional nomination - please consult the admissions sections of the academy websites.
To seek a nomination from Congresswoman Titus, please submit the attached application along with the following letters of recommendation and a copy of your official high school transcript.
