Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District released the following statement today after the U.S. Postal Service announced its plan to end Saturday mail delivery:

“Ending Saturday mail delivery will take away the Postal Service's most important competitive advantage. This is not a sustainable solution to its current financial situation, and will likely drive many customers away. I urge the Postal Service to reconsider this plan, and work with Congress to find a more viable, long-term solution.”
