Washington, D.C. – Today Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District released the following statement in response to the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of the Inspector General's Interim Report regarding the Phoenix VA Health Care System:
“Today the VA Office of Inspector General released an interim report that substantiated many of the alleged failures in management and patient care in the Phoenix VA Health Care System. This is completely unacceptable, and the VA must act immediately to implement the initial recommendations included in this interim report. Our veterans deserve the best care possible; anything less is a disservice to the men and women who bravely served our country. I urge the IG to act as quickly as possible to fully complete this investigation because our veterans deserve answers and solutions, and they deserve them now.”
