Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District will join the Clark County Clerk, LVCVA, Las Vegas Wedding Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Commission on Tourism, and other travel industry advocates to raise awareness about the effect of federal policies and national trends on Southern Nevada’s wedding industry. Las Vegas is the No.1 destination for weddings in the world and generates more than $2 billion annually for the Southern Nevada economy and helps create 16,000 jobs locally. The diverse coalition attending the event is working to ensure that Southern Nevada capitalizes on a niche market that is expected to grow in upcoming years. The heart of the Las Vegas wedding industry is in CD1.
