Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District released the following statement on legislation to fund the Department of Homeland Security through the rest of the fiscal year:

“I was proud to support this funding legislation to provide certainty to the Department of Homeland Security and ensure this critical agency can fully carry out its national security mission,” said Titus. “The Department of Homeland Security is vital to the safety of the American people and our country. I’m pleased that House Republican leadership, after taking us to the brink of a DHS shutdown last week, has finally put aside their reckless political games to allow a vote on a clean, long-term funding bill.”
