Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District released the following statement on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s approval of H.R. 3676, The Prohibiting In-Flight Voice Communications on Mobile Wireless Devices Act of 2013, to ban in-flight cell phone use:
“Everyone has sat next to someone on a plane who talked nonstop; imagine if they were allowed to share their observations throughout the flight with friends on the ground. By banning cellphone conversations on airplanes, Congress has found one issue that all Americans support.”
