Las Vegas, NV – Representative Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement on the plea deal trial of Trump attorney and “fixer” Michael Cohen: 

“The statements out of the Southern District of New York raise serious legal questions about the President and his potential role in coordinating and directing campaign finance violations,” said Representative Titus. “Mr. Cohen has admitted to making illegal payments to the President’s alleged mistresses at the direction of the President himself. This is not about politics. This is about the rule of law and those who believe that the rules do not apply to them. The number of inconsistences and out-right lies we have seen from President Trump, his attorneys, White House officials, and others, further taint this corrupt administration and undermine any remaining legitimacy it might have.”
