Las Vegas—Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District issued the following statement to denounce any threats aimed at immigrant students in Southern Nevada and commend the recent promise by UNLV President Len Jessup to support the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and undocumented immigrant students attending the university. 


“As questions emerge about the future of our immigration policy under the Trump Administration, I want to thank President Jessup and UNLV for pledging to support all of our students, and I ask him to continue standing up against hate on campus and in our community.  No student on campus should feel threatened or intimidated by their teachers, staff, or fellow students.”
