Today Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada's First District announced that Kyle Roerink will be joining her team as the new communications director. Roerink will serve as spokesman and media liaison for the congresswoman in her Washington D.C. office. Roerink previously reported for the Las Vegas Sun on state politics.

He covered the Legislature and appeared on the news programs Nevada Newsmakers and Nevada Week in Review.   "Kyle was one of the most respected and hardest working political reporters in the state," Congresswoman Titus said. "I know he will bring that dedication to the residents of the First District."  

"The Congresswoman's platform in the First District is one that should be emulated nationwide," Roerink said. "Time and again, she showcases a tireless commitment to working families, veterans, local businesses, and climate change. It will be a privilege to champion her work in the First District." Roerink came to the Las Vegas Sun in April 2014 after working for media outlets in Wyoming and New York City. As a reporter he covered energy, fiscal, labor and health care policies at the state and federal level.
