Today Representative Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement in response to the Trump Administration’s FY 2021 budget proposal: 

“The budget proposal that President Trump released today is a disgraceful document,” said Congresswoman Titus (NV-1). “We simply will not allow this President to take billions of dollars from taxpayers for an ineffective border wall while gutting Medicaid, food stamps, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and protections for our clean air and water. President Trump shamefully believes that we can afford to give tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy at the same time that he tears health care away from children and the most vulnerable. Despite all this cruelty, the White House budget still manages to leave a massive hole in our deficit.”
