Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement after the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Janus v. American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Council 31.

“Public service workers help us develop a stronger economy, safer workplaces, and higher standards of living. Whether those employees are in a union or not, collective bargaining allows them to earn a fair wage, receive quality health care, send their children to college, and save for retirement.  We cannot let Republicans hack away at this democratic right and threaten millions of workers who bargain for progress at the workplace.”
