The GOP controls all branches of government but can't figure out a way to fund it for the long term. February 6, 2018 Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement on the House GOP’s fifth Continuing Resolution in FY18. “I voted ‘nay’ – for the fifth time – for many reasons: We are no closer to an immigration fix than we were two weeks ago, nor are we anywhere near passing a spending bill that provides stability for our military, veterans, and domestic programs. It’s telling that the Republicans control all branches of government but cannot figure out a way to fund it for the long-term. Meantime, their donors are counting their winnings from the Trump tax scam, and working families are wondering when the GOP will put country over party.” |
