Clark County Social Services will administer the funds. The $3,264,254 grant is intended primarily for the low-income and under-insured living with HIV/AIDS. January 29, 2016 Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District announced that Clark County Social Services will receive an HIV Emergency Relief Project Grant of $3,264,254. The funding comes from the Health Resources and Services Administration to provide outreach and support services for the under-insured and low-income living with HIV and AIDS in Southern Nevada. “These funds will offer much needed help to women, infants, children and youth with HIV,” Rep. Titus said. “Last year, I fought to bring more dollars into Southern Nevada for fighting this epidemic and will continue to advocate for providing HIV/AIDS services to residents in the First District.” |
