Today Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement on House passage of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program (TRIA) Reauthorization Act of 2015 to reauthorize TRIA through December 31, 2020.

Today Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement on House passage of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program (TRIA) Reauthorization Act of 2015 to reauthorize TRIA through December 31, 2020. The program expired on December 31, 2014.


“Since its enactment, the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act has provided certainty to businesses and stability to the markets. TRIA reauthorization is essential for cities like Las Vegas, and especially crucial for our hospitality, travel, and tourism industries,” said Titus. “I’m pleased that the House has made TRIA reauthorization a top priority in the new Congress and urge the Senate to pass this bill without delay.”
