Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District released the following statement today after the Senate passed S. 744, comprehensive immigration reform:

"The Senate’s passage of comprehensive immigration legislation is a significant step toward the meaningful reform we’ve fought so long to achieve. It’s not perfect, but it reflects the economic and moral necessities of providing a fair pathway to citizenship; promoting innovation and entrepreneurship; protecting our workers; and securing our borders. Now it is time for the House to act. I hope the Republican Leadership in the House will not cater to a small minority of their party and move this landmark legislation as soon as possible.”
