Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District released the following statement today on the President’s address to the nation on the strategy to counter the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL): 


“Tomorrow morning I will attend a classified briefing by top officials from the Departments of State, Defense, and Homeland Security. At that time I will ask for more details about the current situation and the President’s plan for action. It is important that members of Congress be kept in the loop as we consider providing resources and support for any new initiatives.”
