September 5, 2016 Las Vegas—Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District issued a statement to commemorate Labor Day. “Today we honor the industriousness, talent, and perseverance of American workers. Our infrastructure, buildings, and businesses across Southern Nevada are evidence of their many contributions. But we must not forget that workers, past and present, have faced exploitation, discrimination, and other unacceptable treatment on the job.
