Rep. Steven Horsford and U.S. Rep. Dina Titus announced more committee assignments Thursday.

Horsford was named to the Natural Resources Committee.

“I’m excited to serve on a committee at the forefront of federal efforts to protect Nevada’s national parks, natural resources, and tribal communities,” he said in a statement. “I understand the benefits public lands provide to our small businesses and tourism economy. Which is why I’ve spent my career working to safeguard treasures like Nevada’s Tule Springs and Basin and Range National Monuments.”

Earlier this month, Horsford landed a seat on the House Ways and Means Committee, which is a highly sought after spot because of its jurisdiction over economic policy issues like health care and trade, as well as the Budget Committee.

Though he was originally elected in 2012 and lost his first bid for re-election in 2014, Horsford previously told Nevada Current that he got to keep his seniority.

Titus announced she will be re-joining the Homeland Security Committee.

“We must ensure that TSA and Customs are prepared to meet the demands of travelers at McCarran International Airport,” the congresswoman said in a statement. “Additionally, I will work with my colleagues to hold the Trump Administration accountable for its cruel anti-immigrant agenda.”

Titus, who is the ranking Democrat on the Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management, also announced Thursday that she has been officially selected as chair of the subcommittee. She has already been using her position on the subcommittee to scrutinize Donald Trump’s role both the tenant and landlord of the federally owned Old Post Office in Washington, D.C, which Trump leases for his hotel.

U.S. Rep Susie Lee earlier announced she is serving on the Education, Labor  and Veterans’ Affairs committees.
