Washington, D.C. - Today Representative Dina Titus, Chairwoman of the Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management, announced that Southern Nevada will receive over $59 million in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding for public transportation systems in the region. This funding is a result, in large part, of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which Representative Titus helped pass in the U.S. House of Representatives. “I was proud to help pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which made an historic investment in our public transportation systems,” said Rep. Titus. “This critical funding will help our region enhance accessibility for underserved communities and improve services that are vital for connecting people with daily needs, including employment, education, and healthcare." |
