Titus Announces More Than $60M in Public Transit Funding for Nevada’s First District

Washington, DC - Today Congresswoman Dina Titus (NV-01) celebrated the Federal Transit Administration’s announcement that Las Vegas and Henderson will receive more than $60 million in funding for public transportation, with Nevada receiving more than $91 million in total, thanks to investments from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and FY23 appropriations.

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA), a U.S. Department of Transportation entity, announced that Nevada will receive a total of $91,285,297 in funding, with Las Vegas and Henderson receiving $60,416,528, through FTA formula programs in FY23. These include funding from the Mass Transit Account of the Highway Trust Fund, advance appropriations provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act), and annual appropriations.

“I’m proud to have helped pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which showed the American people how Democrats and Republicans can come together to deliver for the state of Nevada,” said Rep. Titus. “With more than $60m for Las Vegas and Henderson, this funding will also equip our district to build even further on its status as a premier global transit hub.”
