WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today Congresswoman Dina Titus (NV-01) released the following statement on the two-year anniversary of Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

“On the two-year anniversary of Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, my thoughts are with the thousands of Ukrainians who have died and those who continue fighting for democracy, freedom, and sovereignty,” said Rep. Dina Titus, member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. “House Republicans’ inability to provide critical aid has emboldened dictators like Vladimir Putin to attack our democratic partners around the world. Make no mistake: If the United States does not continue to support Ukraine, Russia will move further into Europe, pulling our country into a bloody and costly conflict. Following the invasion, the United States built a powerful coalition of global allies to come to the defense of the Ukrainian people. Our European partners have stepped up and we must fulfill our obligation to do the same.”
