WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today Congresswoman Dina Titus (NV-01) released the following statement after President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address to Congress and the nation.

“The state of our union is strong thanks to the leadership of President Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress. Tonight the nation heard a hopeful message for the future where the President laid out a bold vision for progress on several key issues. He reaffirmed his commitment to lowering costs, protecting reproductive freedom, defending democracy, addressing our southern border, and finding bipartisan solutions to many of the biggest issues facing the country.

“President Biden has led the United States back from a global recession, high unemployment, and skyrocketing prices. Thanks to bills that I championed in the House, like the Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS and Science Act, American Rescue Plan, and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the U.S. has ‘turned a setback into a comeback.’ The President has delivered record job growth, rising wages, falling inflation, and the lowest unemployment our country has seen in fifty years. Democrats will continue fighting to boost our economy and cut costs for working families.”
