Washington, D.C. – Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will award the Sunrise Children’s Foundation $1,944,511 for the Early Head Start program.
The funds will help serve 258 infants and toddlers from at-risk communities in Southern Nevada.
“With intensive and comprehensive services, childhood development programs like Early Head Start offer valuable support for families in low-income or underserved neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada. I applaud the Sunrise Children Foundation’s continued commitment to ensuring the health and wellness of the most vulnerable in our community.”
