Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District announced that the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) will award $230,000 to the United States Veterans Initiative (U.S. Vets) site in Las Vegas. This money will go to veteran employment assistance, education, and workforce training.

“Programs like U.S. Vets provide valuable assistance to veterans in our community,” said Congresswoman Titus. “Although homelessness among veterans has fallen, there are still far too many of our heroes on the streets and out of work. This grant will provide critical funds to assist Las Vegas’ US Veterans Initiative efforts in our community.”
