Titus Statement on International Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 27, 2018
With the rise in anti-Semitism in the U.S., we must recommit our efforts to ensure hatred again lead to another tragedy.

Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement on International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

“Today we remember the 11 million lives lost, including 6 million Jewish victims, in the Holocaust. With a dangerous rise of anti-Semitism here in the U.S. and abroad, it is imperative that we continue to listen to and preserve victims’ stories so that we never again let hatred, fear, and xenophobia lead to such a tragedy. We must recommit ourselves to actively fighting injustice and intolerance. Shabbat Shalom.”
