Las Vegas -- Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement for Labor Day.

“Today we honor our nation’s workers. While we enjoy the holiday with our family and friends, let’s remember what so many have faced on the job: exploitation, discrimination, dangerous conditions, and other unjust treatment. We must reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that American jobs offer equal pay for equal work, livable wages, quality health care, retirement benefits, safety standards, and diversity. Anything less is a disservice to those who have built this city and our nation.”
