Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement about her upcoming meeting with advocates of Nevada’s public lands and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke on Monday in Mesquite.

"I will send Secretary Zinke a clear message when he arrives in our state: Keep your hands off our National Monuments. For years, I fought alongside advocates in the community to create the Basin and Range and Gold Butte monuments. While I appreciate the Secretary's visit, he and Trump are sorely mistaken if they think they can hack away at our natural treasures and cultural artifacts without meeting overwhelming resistance."
