Congresswoman Dina Titus sat with a group of local business leaders in Downtown Las Vegas on Friday. She met with the group at the Las Vegas Chamber’s annual “Eggs and Issues” breakfast. The congresswoman covering a wide range of topics, speaking out on a number of Nevada issues that she’s taking to the national stage.

“Since the report did not reach a conclusion about whether the president obstructed justice, all supporting evidence in this investigation must be sent to Congress so that we can make a final determination,” said Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev. Titus is heading a House investigation into the Trump Hotel in Washington and whether the president used his influence to stop the planned relocation of the nearby FBI headquarters building.

Nevada’s 1st congressional district, represented by Rep. Dina Titus, has about 13,800 eligible “Dreamers” and 1,800 eligible under TPS, according to the study. The estimated annual economic contributions of households the act would affect are $79,779,000 in federal taxes; $37,144,000 in state and local taxes and a total of $416,226,000 in spending power.

Rep. Dina Titus on Tuesday denounced a request from President Donald Trump's administration to restart the licensing process for a nuclear waste dump at Yucca Mountain. The Democrat told a joint session of the Nevada Legislature that she will not stand by and let Trump's administration treat Nevada "as a dumping ground for the nation's nuclear waste."

Congresswoman Dina Titus (D-Nevada) is sponsoring the Weekends Without Hunger Act, which establishes a five-year pilot program to provide food to schools, food banks and non-profits such as Serving Our Kids and Three Square. Titus says more than 200,000 children in Nevada are eligible for discounted or free breakfast and lunch at school. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says 13 million children in America live in “food insecure” homes, meaning their families don’t have enough to eat.
