Washington, D.C. – Today Rep. Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District released the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to allow parts of President Trump’s revised travel ban to take effect until it determines the merits of the executive order later this year.

"Trump’s policies of discrimination do not represent our values. The majority of refugees seeking shelter in the United States build prosperous lives for themselves and benefit our communities. Claiming otherwise is immoral and incorrect. Refugees don’t just walk in the door unnoticed. There is a multi-year, multi-agency vetting process. I hope the Supreme Court strikes down this xenophobic provision when it deliberates the merits of President Trump’s order later this year.”
