KLAS: Bill introduced in Congress to provide free at-home COVID-19 tests

Representatives from Nevada, Virginia, New York, and Hawaii have introduced the “Free At-Home Tests for All Act” which would require the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to “purchase in bulk a sufficient quantity of rapid tests for SARS–CoV–2 to provide two such tests per week to every resident of the United States,” and to distribute those tests free of charge.

Rep. Titus Attends White House Presidential Bill-Signing Ceremony For Bipartisan Infrastructure Act

Representative Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District, a senior member of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, attended the White House’s Presidential bill-signing ceremony at which President Biden signed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (H.R. 3684). This bipartisan legislation, which makes historic investments in infrastructure, passed the Senate 69-30 on Aug 10th and passed the U.S. House of Representatives 228-206 on November 5th.
