The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced Tuesday it is banning evictions in areas ?with “substantial or high levels of community transmission” of COVID-19? for 60 days, heeding the calls of lawmakers, including Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV), who backed extending a national moratorium.

Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District, a senior member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, announced securing $9,904,700 dollars for local funding projects on behalf of Southern Nevada. All seven of Congresswoman Titus’ Community Funding Project requests received final passage as part of consideration of nine of the annual appropriations bills to fund the federal government for Fiscal Year 2022.
