Congresswoman Titus Announces $2.33 Million for Air Traffic Control Towers in District One

Congresswoman Dina Titus announced today that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $1.53 million for the construction of an air traffic control tower at Boulder City Municipal Airport, as well as $800,000 to Henderson Executive Airport to make improvements to its tower.

There were 28 percent more visits to emergency rooms this summer than there were during the summer of 2023, according to a first-of-its-kind report issued by the Office of State Epidemiology. Members of Nevada’s federal delegation have taken steps to address heat. Earlier this year, Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Rep.
